Rock Garden and Alpine Program
Alpine plants were once just the favorite of
collectors. Their increasing popularity in recent years means gardeners
are looking for alpines in their favorite garden centers. Alpine and
rock garden plants are well adapted to our poor or rocky soils. Many are
used as low growing carpets around stepping stones, others are used as
groundcovers in dry gravelly soil, in and around rock outcrops or in
rock gardens. With adequate soil preparation, anyone can grow these
plants.
For retail centers looking to enter this
exciting growth area,we offer a mix of our best selling plants to
introduce your customers to the textures found in Alpine perennials.
These beautiful miniatures can turn awkward or dif ficult sites into
showcases of color.
