False Goat's Beard- First 'Visions' (PPAF), then 'Vision in Pink' (PPAF) and now 'Visions in Red' (PPAF), and like the EVEREADY Rabbit they just keep coming, and fortunately for us. This is the latest addition to the 'Visions' range with pinky- red flowers opening from deep red buds over lushes bronze-green foliage. A mid height Astilbe at 18" tall and a mid to late season bloomer. Astilbe are excellent for borders, containers, shade gardens or the edges of ponds. They made good cut or dried flowers. Grow in partial shade in organically rich, moist soil. What a vision it would be to plant the 'Visions' series all together!

Cold hardy in zones 3-8.
