Sedum 'Bertram Anderson'

Bertram Anderson Stonecrop- Think about foliage color in your garden. Perennials don't all flower all season. 'Bertram Anderson' has 12" stems of a glossy purple hue which are cloaked with cool, dusty-lilac leaves, the overall effect being one of very subdued blue. In bold contrast with its understated foliage are its hot, rose-pink flowers in late summer. It would look great in a rockery or as a front of the border "skirt" to delineate precisely where the lawn ends and the garden begins. It requires good drainage for optimal performance and presents most elegantly when mulched with pea gravel or marble chips. This drought resistant full sun loving plant does not like wet feet or too much water for that matter. Space 12-15"s apart.

Cold hardy in zones 4-9.
