Sidalcea 'Little Princess' (PPAF)

Little Princess Minature Hollyhocks- Primarily of Northwestern American origin, this mallow native is much admired for its delicate, feminine quality, quite the opposite of its other relative, the giant Hibiscus. It bears soft, frilly flowers in July and August on a compact plant growing just 15" tall. Remember that western states tend to be drier, sunnier and more alkaline than we are. 'Little Princess' is a great candidate for a sunny spot in sandy loam. We recommend that you lime it once a year.

Cold hardy in zones 4-8.
